For restaurant employees, lacking the knowledge in food allergy awareness can send a customer to the emergency room in the middle of service.

When a person with a food allergy eats something they're allergic to, it can cause different reactions towards their bodies, and in a more severe case, it can cause anaphylactic shock and even death.
